We are moving to Wisconsin in Spring...somewhere outside of Milwaukee. We would prefer a gay/lesbian friendly arts community. Any suggestions? We plan to purchase a small hobby farm but with access to Milwaukee. Thanks for your help!

Have you moved yet? There are LGBT people in many of the communities surrounding Milwaukee - Mequon, Germantown, Oak Creek, Waukesha, Kenosha, but I am not sure that any of them meet both the farm and artsy components. I think Brendan's offer of a gay realtor could come in handy.

are plans changed a bit...and move has shifted to this summer. We are debating outskirts of Milwaukee and Madison. We want to have access to lots of gay/lesbian led families. Any opinions?

I still think that the gay realtor would be the best choice. There are lots of gay families in Milwaukee and in Madison. Will you get to come visit the area? You might consider coming to Pridefest in Milwaukee June 11-13 if you are here.
